Layering skincare products is a way of layering the effects of different types of skincare products on top of one another to get the most out of your routine. It's not particularly hard, but it is a little tricky to understand at first. Your skin needs different steps to be healthy. This article will explain how layers work, how to actually create and layer a routine, the benefits, and what else you will need to make sure your skin is happy and healthy!

Cleansing and exfoliating are very important parts of skincare. Cleansing removes excess oil and dirt from pores, which can lead to acne. After cleansing and exfoliating, you can use hyaluronic acid. It's used in skincare products as an anti-aging agent and moisturizer. It works by helping the skin to retain moisture, so it's beneficial to your skin and can make it look younger and more vibrant.

Spot treatments work best for controlling the severity of acne. There are many different types of acne medications that you can use as a spot treatment. For example, you can use an anti-acne gel, a lotion, or a spot treatment product with a higher concentration of active ingredients.

You can apply Light oils + serums in this step. The serums penetrate deep into the skin and deliver hydrating and anti-aging ingredients, including peptides and antioxidants. The light oils are considered as skin-identical ingredients that are used for their emollient, lubricating, and humectant properties to hydrate and help restore the skin's natural protective barrier.

Layer 4

Apply heavy creams and moisturizers after applying oils and serums. Heavy creams and moisturizers have been found to help with all sorts of skin problems and issues, including dry skin! If you have dry skin, you're going to need heavy cream or moisturizer to put on top of your serum and under your lotion. You will have soft, supple skin and a healthier complexion.

What's so special about eye creams? Well, it all has to do with the eye area. The skin around the eyes is a lot thinner than the skin on the face, so it needs a little extra attention. Eye creams are

specifically made to hydrate and moisturize this delicate area. Wrinkles in and around the eyes can make a person look older than they are. Using an eye cream every daily can prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

Sunscreen application is an important part of preventing skin cancer. These products can work to protect you from the sun's harmful rays. They help accomplish this by either absorbing or reflecting the rays before they can be absorbed by the skin. Sunscreen also works to protect your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays by helping to prevent sunburns.
