Why we love cold process soaps
At Sugar Town Organics under our Yaphene brand, we craft cold process soap. We prefer using this method because it preserves more of the benefits of plant material used while offering skin cleansing, and nourishing properties. Cold Process Soap relies on the heat generated in the soap-making process caused by the chemical reaction between the fatty acid (plant oils and butter) and the acid-base, rather than by an external heat source like commercial mass-produced soap bars.
